Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our team at our Freetown, Sierra Leone office. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading, planning, and executing complex projects across Amaka Enterprise's various companies, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and achievement of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and stakeholder expectations.

Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure successful project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.

Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as needed.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor and track project progress, providing regular status updates and proactively addressing any deviations from planned timelines, budgets, or objectives.

Ensure the timely completion of project deliverables, maintaining a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Implement and adhere to project management best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Mentor and develop junior project management staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, learning, and continuous growth.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree and/or Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate diverse project teams.

Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
